Bath & Body Works!!!
I went to Richland Mall and came back with 3 items from B&B Works. Mind you, it was hard to decide what to buy. It's always hard when it comes B&B Works. But here's what I chose and bought: Holiday Traditions Yuletide Pear Vanilla Body Lotion Holiday Traditions Yuletide Pear Vanilla Fragrance Mist Signature Collection Twilight Woods Hand Cream And I originally was planning on buying a hoodie or a pair of skinny jeans...haha. What the flip is with Brown-eyed Girls' Abracadabra music video? I read somewhere that Man Man Ha Ni sung by U-Kiss sounds like Abracadabra, so I went to Youtube to check it out. And I was shocked. I mean, I wasn't expecting such a provocative and...what should I say...disturbing music video from them. I've never been a fan of BEG, but this music video turned me off even more. The strange thing is, everyone loves this MV. They absolutely fricken' love it and I absolutely fricken' don't. The only thing I like about it is Ga-In's hair, and that's it. When it came to the part where the female dancers were feeling one of the BEG girls (Ga-In, but with a wig) up and down, especially the [sarcasm] "lucky" [/sarcasm] dancer who lifted Ga-In's top and totally felt her boobs, I was like, WHAT THE--? And I'm wondering how many times they practiced that and how Ga-In honestly felt after being touched in that way. (More like violated.) I know they're trying to be different from the bubble-gum pop girl groups, but still...you don't have to be explicit to be different. And I still cannot believe how many people, straight girls included, lovvve this music video. The world is so corrupt it's scary.

I finally got the laptops back yesterday!
Okay, the old one was being troublesome and I brought it to ResTech, where they can fix anything technological. I told the 'rents about it and they bought a used one for me to use. However, ResTech called and said that the old laptop had a bad harddrive and would I like to know how much it'd cost to buy a new one and I said no, I got a new laptop, so they asked if I'd like them to back up the files on the old one and I said sure. So I brought the new one to them when the 'rents brought it down, and I waited and waited and waited for the whole thing to be finished. Having no computer, I had to go to the Student Union Building (SUB) to work on classwork and it was fricken' ridiculous how long it took. But anyway, the laptops finished early afternoon yesterday (when I thought they would finish at night because I had called them earlier and the guy at the front desk said that it would take 'til 9 pm or so). So after they called me to come pick up the laptops, I went to get them and...yeah. The weird thing is that the old one made all these noises, and this new one has been doing the same since yesterday, too. It's much faster than the old one but what is this noise it's been making?! I have to take back what I said on Xanga about Baylor not having that many Asian guys. There ARE plenty of Asian guys here. It's just that I'm not in like the ASA and other organizations so I don't see and meet any Asian guys. Just being in the VSA doesn't help. Therefore, I've been thinking about joining ASA next year, and also, there's something called the AsianFest Culture Show that's coming up this month so I'm planning to go if possible. Okay, now I sound like I'm in college to meet Asian guys. No, that's not what my mindset is. However, I don't have many Asian guy friends and when other girls do, I just feel left out. Maybe it's me who people don't want to befriend, but I gotta say, the older you get, the harder it is to make friends. Remember how easy it was in elementary school? I bought several CDs last month, and I normally don't buy them. I couldn't help myself, though. - Kutless: It Is Well - Lifescapes: The Classical Music for Reading Collection - Lifescapes: Afternoon In Paris - WOWHits 2010: 30 Of Today's Top Christian Artists and Hits - David Crowder*Band: Church Music All of them are great, but I looove the Kutless one and the DC*B one. Awesome stuff. I have English homework I didn't do yesterday so I woke up early to do that. And blogging on here is not doing my homework. So...I'll stop here and actually get to work. I honestly don't know how to make this sound any less weirder than it does, but...here goes.
Today at church while we were eating, Dalena told me that Jumper's brother A knows me. I was like, "What?" And she said, "Yeah, he asked what I was doing and I said that I was hanging with my friend Mercy. And he replied, "Oh, Mercy? I know who she is!" (Or "I know her!") And Dalena asked, "You do?" And he's like, "Yeah, isn't she the girl who likes my brother?" Aaaaaahhh! I told Dalena that it's hard for me to imagine any guy telling his brother that a girl likes him, and she added that Jumper and his brother are not close either. So why would Jumper tell his brother if they're not close?? And why would he tell him, anyway?! I asked Dalena over and over if she was telling the truth and that God was watching but she said that she was telling me the truth. She had a smile on her face, though. But even if she was smiling that doesn't mean she wasn't telling the truth...right? Labels: his brother, jumper |
